The collection, processing and use of these personal data is linked to a single, specific purpose in accordance with data privacy regulations, i.e. only for the express purpose for which you gave us your data. Your data will not be made available to third parties.

The Württembergische Landesbibliothek (Württemberg State Library) requests, in your own interest, that you ensure that your user password and other personal access data are not made accessible to unauthorized third parties.

Links to other websites

The Württembergische Landesbibliothek is responsible for the content of its own pages that it makes available for use in accordance with general legislation (Paragraph 7 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG)). A distinction must be made between our own content and links to sites with contents made available by other providers.

With these "external links", the Württembergische Landesbibliothek provides access to "third-party contents" (Paragraph 8 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG)). It is not responsible for the "third-party contents", as it has no control over the transmission of the information, the selection of the recipients of the transmitted information, or the selection and modification of the information transmitted.

On first linking to these websites, BELWUE, in its capacity as network provider for the WLB, checks the third-party content for potential civil or criminal liability. As soon as the Württembergische Landesbibliothek becomes or is made aware of civil or criminal liability arising from any website to which the WLB has already provided a link, all reasonable and technically possible measures will be taken to remove the link to that website.

Data security

In accordance with Paragraph 9 of the Federal State Data Protection Act (LDSG), the Württembergische Landesbibliothek employs technical and organisational security measures to protect the data you have provided against unauthorized access and misuse. These security measures are continuously revised in accordance with technological development and consideration of the relevant statutory requirements.

Right of access to information

You have the right, at no cost, to request information regarding your data held by the WLB and to insist on the correction of any incorrectly stored data (Paragraphs 21, 22 LDSG). Requests for information/correction should be sent in writing to the Management of the Württembergische Landesbibliothek, Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse 8, 70173 Stuttgart.
